VP Sara Duterte, pamumunuan muli ang Office of the President habang nasa Amerika si PBBM para sa 77th United Nation General Assembly (UNGA) 

VP-Sara Duterte tinapik na OIC ng ‘Pinas habang wala si PBBM

Muling itinalaga si Vice President Sara Duterte na tagapangalaga ng bansa habang nasa Amerika si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.

Nagtungo sa Amerika si Marcos nitong Linggo, Setyembre 18 para dumalo sa 77th United Nations General Assembly.

Nakatakda ding dumalo si PBBM sa ilang bilateral meetings, business engagements at makikipagkita din ito sa Filipino community sa United States mga taga Canada na malapit naman sa New York 

Napag-alamang magsasalita si President Marcos sa UNGA sa Setyembre 20 kung saan naka-focus ang kanyang talumpati sa economic recovery, food security at agricultural productivity

Ayon kay Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles.“We are going to expect that his speech will be relating to how the Philippines will be recovering from this pandemic and where he intends to take this and how he will do so in cooperation with other states,”

Pahayag naman ni President Bongbong Marcos na mahalaga na makilahok ang Pilipinas sa UNGA.

“The United Nation  is where countries of the world congregate to discuss the most pressing challenges facing our people. This, it is important for us to participate in the General Assembly and to make certain that our voice is heard,” ani PBBM

Ito na ang pangalawang pagkakataon na itinalaga si VP Sara Duterte na officer-in-charge (OIC) ng bansa habang ay nasa "state visits."

VP Sara ayUnang naging OIC nang mag-state visit ang Pangulo sa Indonesia at Singapore noong Setyembre 4 hanggang Setyembre 7.
